Responsibilities & Role

  • Drive the RedWave Technology capabilities into the most logical state, local and hazmat teams in your territory seeking chemical identification and forensics screening capabilities
  • Knowledge of the funding sources and nature of US State and Local sales of safety & security equipment
  • You are a sales professional, you want to make great money and hit the top-tier commission plan. If you are more comfortable in “business development and strategic marketing” please do not apply.
  • This is a role where you will sell directly, but there will be grants/programs where selling through resellers and partners will be required, you know how to work with and nurture such partnerships


  • An in-depth understanding of competitors in the chemical identification (and ideally also gas detection) markets
  • Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the chemical detection and identification industry
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with product demonstration & technical product sales
  • You will be comfortable (and eager) to get hands-on with the equipment for chemical identification and the positioning with Raman, FTIR, HPMS, IMS, and other technologies used by first responders, and hazmat professionals for portable and unattended chemical response
  • Experience selling complex & tangible products to non-technical personnel; ie hardware NOT software
  • Travel is required for this position, estimated at 35% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a technical field
